PANEL ADVISES $12 MILLION BOND ELECTION TO FIX ROADS
Full Description:
A city committee is recommending a $12 million bond package to improve streets. The package could increase tax bills for the average Colleyville homeowner by $100 a year.
The plan by the Street Capital Improvement Plan Committee calls for repairing 25 streets that are in poor shape, or have drainage problems, an excessive number of patches or utility lines underneath that need repairs. Targeted streets include Chapelwood Drive, Shadow Wood Road, and Plantation and Ponderosa streets.
