Speaker: Michael Williams, Chairman of the Railroad Commission of Texas
Michael is the first African American in Texas history to hold an executive statewide elected post. Michael's fascination with ideas and his ability to convey the conservative agenda has earned him the distinction of being the most passionate and articulate voice in Texas government. He believes that improved education, increased inclusion, strong families and solid marriages benefit all Texans. He also believes that environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, fuel diversity and increasing Texas production work together to generate a healthy Texas economy and improved energy security for the strength and safety of this great State and our future generations.
